YouTube Downloader is a Google Chrome browser plugin that lets you download YouTube videos while viewing the video directly from its website.
Under any video posted on YouTube there are options to share with friends, to favorite or like it, as well as add a comment. To download though, you need to use an external program.

Once installed, a download option appears between other already existing options as if it were part of the normal page options. Just click, choose where to save the file and you're ready to go.
Best yet, YouTube Downloader downloads your chosen videos lightning fast. You can even choose whether to download it as an MP3 audio file, a high-definition MP4 video file or FLV. It's just a shame the YouTube Downloader plugin only works on YouTube and not other sites.
